Isshin-Aiki  Family Reunion

Dear Sensei's

     It's that time again! Spring Training Camp!!!  May 12 -14, 3006.  Fee to attend the camp is $60.00.  The fee includes 3 meals Saturday and 2 Sunday, lodging, and full use of the camps  grounds.  You all can begin arriving at 1600 Friday.  Camp will break at 1400 Sunday, after lunch and clean‑up.

     Our primary instructors and guests of honor will be Master Ken Green, 7^th dan, from Farmerville, LA.. He has studied Isshinryu since 1967.  Master Carman Pelusi has become a regular at camp.  He is a 7^th dan in Aikido and has studies a variety of arts including judo and jujutsu.  We look forward to their insights and outstanding teaching methods!  Instructors created by both of these fine Sensei regularly attend to assist in relating their arts to campers.

     Be sure to bring your boots and camouflage, you'll need it!  We hope to have enough interest to have a game of paintball as well as the traditional game.  Let me know how many you have that want to play paintball.  Players must furnish their own equipment & supplies.  Don't forget the goggles!!! 

 Please copy the number of registration and waiver forms you need. Your copy is enclosed. Please have them to me with payment in full for all who are attending by Wednesday, April 19th,2006. I have to have time to order the food and need to know how many to order for. If getting the forms in becomes a problem, you may email the number of students coming to: MRiddle703@aol.com.

     If you have anyone to test for a Dan grade, let Sensei Green or I know as soon as possible.  We also would like to know the dates of rank for everyone's black belts. Any Aiki testing should be coordinated with Novelle & Sensei Pelusi.

     Everyone will need the usual: Gi's, belt, cup (if applicable), t‑shirts, shower shoes, tennis shoes, camo clothes & paint, flashlight with batteries, linen for the bunks or sleeping bags, cooler with drinks & ice and snacks, run‑around clothes (according to weather), towels and toiletries, and any other articles you may deem necessary for survival in a camp environment.

     The same rules and regulations apply as every year before.  Please familiarize your students and parents with them!  DON'T FORGET TO SIGN THE WAIVERS and COMPLETELY FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION FORMS!!

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THIS TRAINING CAMP.

1.  Persons 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult during water activities.
2.  Firearms and alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the camp grounds by John I Hay personnel.
3.  Everyone must abide by instructions of higher belt grades  (and adults for minors).
4.  Conduct yourself as an Isshinryu/ Aikido-ka Ka at all times.  The Code of Conduct applies.
5.  Horseplay will not be tolerated.
6.  Sign the roster when entering or leaving the immediate camp area.  This tells us where to find you in an emergency.
7.  Sign the roster when leaving the campgrounds for any reason. Let someone know where you are going and when you expect to return.
***No one under 21 will leave without their Sensei's permission.***
8.  Violations of the above rules and regulations will be subject to discipline by Master Green, or a law enforcement officer if necessary.

REMEMBER!!  There will be students and teachers from dojo's other than your own at this camp.
